In the documentary "Terra e Cielo. Clausura" the protagonists are two Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Farfa, the Prior Father and the Holy Father, who live observing the rule of St. Benedict. The story of their life that is methodically divided between the respect of silence, prayer and daily activities. In the abbey the passage of time is marked by the succession of meditations, vespers and community songs. The hermitic and contemplative life is filmed and proposed to the viewer in its daily recurrences, unalterable and punctual.
